Addendum owner and Carmel native, Shane Hartke, lived in New York and traveled the country while working in branding for the W Hotel Chain. It was in New York that he developed his love for art and through his travels that he discovered many of the artists whose works he carries in Addendum Gallery.“I most enjoy finding new items and learning the stories about each piece, the artist who created it and why it was created,” said Shane. Shane continues to travel extensively to art shows around the world in order to bring his customers truly unique pieces including selections by Michael Aram, MacKenzie-Childs, Ralph Lauren, L'Objet, Jan Barboglio, Simon Pearce, Match Pewter,Uno de 50 Jewelry, Nest Candles, Jill Duzan, and Sorrelli Jewelry. Addendum Gallery specializes in hand-crafted art pieces, tabletop & entertaining pieces, small studio papergoods & letterpress cards, imaginative gifts, and artisan jewelry. Most of what you will find in Addendum comes from the United States but there are also many items from France. What differentiates Addendum from other stores is that there is a person behind every item in the store.  Not to mention Wallis, the store King Charles Cavalier Spaniel, she serves as official greeter.
